1. Who we are

Liquid Impulse Labs ("we", "us") makes the PPL Training app ("the app") and runs liquidimpulselabs.com ("the website"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. The short version

• Your training data stays on your device.
• There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no selling of data.
• We cannot see your workouts, measurements or photos.

3. What the app stores on your device

The app stores the information you enter: workouts, sets, weights, repetitions, notes, your training plan and routine, body measurements, progress photos and your settings. This is kept in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive a copy.

4. Apple Health

If you give permission, the app reads workouts, heart rate and active energy from Apple Health, usually recorded by your Apple Watch, and shows them next to your logged sessions. The app only reads this data. It does not write anything to Apple Health. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, marketing or data mining, and we do not share it with anyone. You can change or withdraw permission at any time in Settings, then Health, then Data Access and Devices.

5. iCloud and backups

• iCloud Sync (optional): if you turn this on, your app data is stored in your private iCloud account through Apple. We cannot access it. Data read from Apple Health is not stored in iCloud by the app.
• Manual backup: the app can export your data as a file. You choose where it is saved. We do not receive it.
• Device backups: your device backups made by Apple may include the app's data. These are controlled by Apple and your Apple settings.

6. Notifications and Live Activities

Reminders and Live Activities are created on your device. No information about them is sent to us.

7. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. We may receive confirmation from Apple of whether you have an active purchase.

8. The website

• What we collect: messages you send us, such as your email address and what you write. The website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.
• Why: to reply to you and provide support (our legitimate interests and, where relevant, to carry out our contract with you).
• Who hosts it: the website is hosted on GitHub Pages, provided by GitHub. When you visit, GitHub may record your IP address to keep the service secure. GitHub handles this under its own privacy statement.

9. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run the website (such as GitHub), or where the law requires it.

10. Transfers outside the UK

GitHub and Apple may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, they rely on legal safeguards approved for these transfers.

11. How long we keep data

• App data: until you delete it or delete the app. Deleting the app removes the data on your device. If you used iCloud Sync, delete the iCloud copy in your iCloud storage settings.
• Website messages: kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, then deleted within 12 months.

12. Your rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict, move or object to the use of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not hold your app data, you control it directly in the app. For anything we do hold, such as emails you sent us, contact us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

13. Security

Your data is protected by your device's security, so use a passcode and keep your device updated. We do not run servers that store your app data.

14. Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

15. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or on the website.
